Oliver and Willow Cornflower spend each summer school break with their grandfather at his house in the Sentinel Forest. Shortly after arriving, their grandfather disappears. The title of the series, "The Edge of the Sentinel," refers to the location of Granpa's house and the locations of several key components that will be of importance in the final battle against Drahkir Foxglove to ensure the safety of the fire stored in the vessel hidden beneath the mountains of Requiem Rock.
