Kauffman's BEST

I actually read this book after i read "The Cinderella Rules" "Dear Prince Charming" and "Sleeping With Beauty" (i would recommend those books to anyone who wants a fun read. Anyways, back to the book. I purchased this book on ebay for a relatively cheap price and began reading it once i got it in the mail. Also, two of my friends have borrowed this book and absolutely adored it as much as I did. The characterizations are awesome and witty lines are amazing. It all starts when Tanzy (yes, that's her name, well actually, it's Tanzanita. Pretty bad, but name aside) has to house-sit for her Great Aunt Millicent. But, at the same time, her aunt has left Riley to stay in the house at the same time. As always, sparks fly. But is Riley a sheep all the way or a wolf at heart? So, as Tanzy is trying to figure out Riley, SoulM8 steps into the picture. A complete stranger that begins to talk to Tanzy via e-mail. Is SoulM8 a harmless fan or a dangerous stalker? Read "The Big Bad Wolf Tells All" to find out... and until then... HAPPY READING!

Fabulous--Need I say More?

Loved it, loved it, loved it! I really can't say enough about The Big Bad Wolf Tells All (TBBWTA), it's one of the best books I have read recently. I happened upon The Cinderella Rules not too long ago, and enjoyed it so much that I sought out TBBWTA to see if it could also stand up to my rather stringent standards. Tanzy and Riley are intelligently written characters that I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know, and Tanzy's eclectic circle of friends reminds me of my own. Donna Kauffman is a fabulous author, blending romance with mystery and comedy into a genre that far defies traditional romance rules. I can't wait until Dear Prince Charming is released in August--buying it is definitely at the top of my To-Do list!

Bring me a Wolf any day!

Join the wolf pack and pick up The Big Bad Wolf Tells All! In this romantic comedy Tanzy Harrington, online romance columnist, discloses to her readers why men fall into two categories, wolves or sheep, and how this directly impacts relations between the sexes. Enter Riley Parrish, a man about who is as alpha-male as someone can get. Hired by Tanzy's great-aunt to protect her when a fan crosses the line into stalking, Riley knows that to be successful, he must be as bland as the sheep-men Tanzy professes to disdain. Football jerseys, ball gowns, and dynamic conversation between the characters add to the growing tension. Find out what happens when two people realize under extraordinary circumstances what it means to be a "wolf in sheep's clothing".

Part savy chicklit & part sexy romance novel....

....and I loved every minute of it. Tanzy Harrington is a "B" List celebrity/romance columnist for an online magazine in San Fransisco's Bay Area. She claims there are two types of men in this world: the totally Alpha, dangerous, exciting wolves and the solid, dependable, husband material sheep. Tanzy is a beautiful, confident single women and she has left a trail of broken wolves' hearts all over the place. Even when all her best friends are settling down, she herself will not be domesticated.Until.....Her great-aunt Millicent suddenly leaves town and she is forced to house-sit and co-habitate with the mysterious Riley Parrish. Is he the dependable sheep or is there a sexy wolf lurking somewhere in there? You'll sure enjoy finding out. Of course this premis has been used a time or two, but Tanzy is a very original character so I'm sure you'll be able to be a bit forgiving. This is the perfect book for a rainy day, or superb entertainment to combat all the re-runs on T.V.

Chick-lit at its'best

San Francisco columnist Tanzy Harrington classifies the world quite simply around the concept that two types of males populate it: wolves and sheep. Tanzy prefers the dangerous wolves as her bed mate over the flock of dependable husband material. The key to her unusual attitude is that she loves them and leaves them with her heart untouched. Her Aunt Millicent feels that Tanzy is missing out on real life so she chooses a candidate for her niece. Tanzy immediately blows away Millicent's selection as a sheep or why else would her aunt select him. In actuality Millicent hired security expert Riley Parrish to protect Tanzy from an anonymous fan threatening her. As Riley escorts Tanzy throughout the Bay area they fall in love, but she begins to wonder if he might be a wolf in sheep's clothing.Fans of chick lit will enjoy this contemporary romance due to the uniqueness of Tanzy. The story line moves slowly forward, as the suspense elements remain de-emphasized though suspects surface. Instead, the tale focuses on Tanzy's Baa Humbug attitude towards sheep and her doubts about which classification Riley belongs to while she disregards the well known fact that wolves mate for life.Harriet Klausner
