Please bring this book back

Over the years I bought at least two, maybe three, copies of this book for our five sons, even though money was very short. Its only fault was that the binding would wear out with frequent use. I would love to buy copies for baby showers now that my kids are almost all grown up. Please, whoever owns the rights, re-print it.

Out of Print - Please bring it back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you can find this book for $20 or under (and in good condition), snatch it up. It is now going for $40 and up if in very good condition. It is VERY hard to find, and even harder to find at an affordable price. My kids love this book. We love the book. It is the most requested rhyming book in our home and to top it all off it is Scripturally sound. It tells the basic Bible stories in rhyme and reminds the kids how much God loves and cares for them personally ("God Knows Your Name", "God Sees Me"). Our son's personal favorite is "The Tower of Babel". But he also loves the entire series on Joseph. Here is "The Tower of Babel": "Come!" said the man, "Let's make ourselves a name! "Let's build ourselves a tower. And get ourselves some fame!" "Let's all work togehter And make the tower high, So it stretches up to heaven And reaches to the sky!" But God above was watching As the men worked on the tower. He saw they wanted greatness. He saw they wanted power. He wasn't please with what he saw. He knew it wasn't good. He said, "I'll mix their language So they can't be understood!" So when a workman tried to talk With other workmen near, Funny words and babble sounds Came drifting to his ear. "Tee...lee! A-lah-doo-ween!" "What is that? What do you mean?" "Pim-pam! A-dack-a-too!" "Well, I give up! I cant work with you!" No longer could they talk, And no longer could they build. They couldn't work together, So their hammers soon were stilled. They couldn't live together, So they scattered far apart, And that's how the languages First got their start. Awesome Book!

This is as much fun for the reader as it is for the child. Experts say ryhming is an important tool in language developement. This book brings in the introduction to bible characters and concepts as well as being wonderfully creative. It is a blast to share with a young one and I have done so for 22 years and counting. Our children and grandchildren remember it fondly and even now will quote a line or two! Enjoy!

This is the best baby book I have bought!

We bought this book for my son before he was born (16 years ago). We have had so much fun reading it to all of our five children - and making up melodies to some of the verses - that we have purchased more copies and I hope to buy one for each of them to have for his/her own children. I now purchase this book for new baby gifts, and try to keep an extra on hand. I only wish that I could buy a case of them!

This is the BEST Bible story book I have seen for tiny tots.

I have been giving this book as a baby gift for 12 years now. This is the one book children keep asking to have read to them...over and over again. The author has kept true to the Bible stories but written them in such a way that children love to hear them. I understand that it is going out of print soon. That is a very serious mistake. There is NOTHING on the market to replace it. Think about that!
