The Bandit's Betrothed is a work of historical biblical fiction. It is a story that's never been told before.

Six years ago, a historical find surfaced in Istanbul, Turkey. It was an early Christian letter written by a first-century Jewish woman named Naomi of Cana. What made the letter so remarkable was the fact that Naomi was betrothed to Dismas (The Good Thief), who was crucified with his partner, Gestas, alongside Jesus of Nazareth. Dismas believed Jesus was the Messiah who would free the house of Israel from Roman occupation.

Naomi found herself crossing paths with Jesus at various points throughout her life, starting with meeting the Holy Family on their flight to Egypt, the wedding in her hometown of Cana, again in Syro-Phoenicia, where she witnessed the multiplication of the loaves and fish, and all the way to Golgotha and the Roman wooden cross.Witnessing the risen Christ, Naomi started following the disciples of Jesus, joining the movement that was being called "The Way."
