Outstanding fantasy pin-up art

Bolton's incredible work combines many elements: gorgeous women (except in a few cases), clothes that (when present at all) heighten and titillate rather than conceal, and macabre themes of vampires or worse. Some blood-spattered pages throw the gore directly into the viewer's face. Others hint at vampiric violence. Others, like the similing diver frozen in freefall above a teacup, show a vivid sense of humor. Yet others simply celebrate the elegance of womanly form - but that's an element of nearly all of these 90 reproductions. These aren't entirely about the babe, though; shadowy presences lurk in the dark backgrounds of these imagas. It's not for the nudity-shy, but it never tips over into vulgarity, either. Outside of that one caveat, I recommend this to any fan of fantasy art. -- wiredweird

It is part of a series of German art books, called Art Fantastix ...which are often published as international editions, too, presenting the best international erotic and fantasy artists like Olivia, Luis Royo, Dorian Cleavenger, Boris Vallejo, Ricky Carrallero, Michael Möbius and more. The Bolton book is a perfect one to start with. So check it out, you surely won't be disappointed!
