One of the most profound spiritual works I have read.

I read this book some time ago so I remember more its emotional impact than the contents. I passed it on to a friend who then passed it on to a Jesuit missionary. What I most remember about the book is its assertation that Christ gave the prayer as a method for maintaining balance in the human soul. In times of trial, I go back to the prayer to restore balance. Now I make a habit of saying "the Lord's Prayer" every night before retiring. That way I assure balance in my life always. By the way, the literal Aramaic translation to English contains some minor but significant differences than what is traditionally taught as "the Lord's Prayer."
