I am not supposed to be an author. I wrote The Agora Manuals for myself. To guide my life at a time when I needed solid direction to plan my future. I share it as a personal and objective frame to think about your desires and goals as a man. In a way these manuals have always formed the basis of my thinking and personal values. It has been a privilege to share this with you who finds these pages useful and interesting to read.
In ancient Rome, the agora is a place where streets meet. I found desire to be a similar place in my life. My relationship to what I desired became a metaphor for my values as a man. I wrote this book to describe how I approached my desires and found at the end that I had a manual, my Agora manuals. Enjoy.
