Book Overview

The Adventures Of A Penny is a children's book written by E. Perring and originally published in 1863. The story follows a penny as it travels from person to person and place to place, experiencing a variety of adventures along the way. The penny is initially given to a young boy as a reward for completing a chore, and from there it passes through the hands of a street vendor, a beggar, a wealthy merchant, and many others.
