Entertaining!

My 3 year old and I love this book and another by the same author, "Felix's Hat". The characters display real life personalities and scenarios. Philomena is perfectly written as a snotty, opinionated sister (don't we all have one of those?) Yet we can't help but love her! Also the family is close and loving and help each other out.

Good family book

My daughter loves the characters in this book; and I find the depiction of family dynamics and life to be realistic; not everything goes right all the time, and not everyone behaves as they should, but they are all trying to help each other in the end.
