That Kind can Never Change is an autobiography about being a homosexual, the struggles of that lifestyle, and what lead him to change. There were many questions: Was he born this way? Was he... This description may be from another edition of this product.
This was a great book. I loved how the author started from his childhood and really took some time to give background into the events of his life and how they shaped his sexuality. He is thorough in giving a "big picture" glimpse of his life, struggles, etc, without going into graphic detail about the sexual side of his lifestyle. He gives his story in a manner that shows grace and forgiveness, openness and honesty. From my experience with others who have struggled with this issue and overcome, many of his experiences are similar to others that I have heard, so I think his story is a good general representation of what many deal with who struggle with unwanted homosexual feelings. Of course, each person and experience is unique, but his carries some common threads that are often seen. This is a great resource for people wondering if change is possible, what it might look like, why a person would want to change, etc.
