A Family Struggles with AIDS

This is a story of a family and its ordeal with AIDS. Keith, the author's husband, contracts AIDS from earlier homosexual contacts and Elizabeth's journal documents their love and commitment as a family unit. This book both touched and saddened me. However, I felt that the author put up barriers so that it was difficult for her to access her deepest emotions. Perhaps she found this necessary in order to document this story at all.
