Thank You, Sky

By Dan McCauley

The ever-changing sky surrounds us like a gentle hug, reminding us to savor each passing moment

Thank You, Sky follows a young boy and his Nana on a poetic journey of gratitude for the peaceful rhythms of nature. After a day of rushing to keep pace with the busy world, the boy embarks on a leisurely outing with his grandmother to connect with the unhurried pace of nature. They notice how the sky's colors and clouds shift and fade, unhurried. As cooling rain begins to pour down, they resist the urge to run indoors, savoring the moment of joyful togetherness. Finally, night comes, and the sky darkens. Nana and grandson wander slowly home, grateful for the calming embrace of the ever-present sky.
