Terrace Tasties

Terrace Tasties is not really a cook book, more of a documentation of successful things that have happened on the terrace at Chauffour concerning food. Chauffour is an old farmhouse in the Lot-et-Garonne region of south west France. The inside kitchen is reasonably furnished but for 8 months of the year we live outside on a terrace, which is a considerable walk from the kitchen. Hence, the terrace has evolved into a kitchen in its own right, complete with bbq, gas hob, worktops, fridge and sink. Basically it is a rural summer kitchen with no rules and no boundaries. In short, on Chauffour Terrace, anything goes.
