I found Angel's Coffin at my local bookstore while looking for a single volume manga with a dark plot. What initially got me to pick it up was the title because it sounded like it had the potential to have a darker story than all of the other single volume manga I'd come across. Then I saw the cover art and found it to be very attractive. I was tempted to buy it based on the title and cover art alone, but I actually ended up putting it down and walking away. The reason was because I was worried it would start out as the dark story I wanted only to degenerate into a fluffy fairy tale where everyone lived happily ever after. Eventually I made up my mind to try it anyway. I'm glad I did decide to try it. The plot didn't quite have the dark tone I'd been looking for, but it definitely wasn't a happy high school romance. Throughout the book I was constantly wondering what would become of Seto and Marie. I personally really liked the character of Seto, so while reading I kept wanting to know what would happen to him, which had me finishing the volume in one go. If you want something happy and uplifting I would stay away from this. However, if you enjoy a sad/dark story then you may want to give Angel's Coffin a try.

This story is very sad but well written.I highly suggest it to anyone who likes a little history in their manga.
