Tempting the Demon Queen

By Mariah Serna

Sebastian Wynter was sent into the Infernal Wastes to kill a monster. Instead, he found a woman carved from shadow and flame-Queen Lilithien Vexalia, the demoness whispered about in mortal nightmares. Cold, cruel, and seductively untouchable, she should have ended his life.

But she doesn't.

Kept alive for reasons she refuses to explain, Sebastian becomes her reluctant guest-an obsession burns fast beneath the surface. Lilithien is intoxicating: eyes like bloodstone, lips like sin, and a voice that coils like silk around his resolve. She toys with him at first-body and mind-but Sebastian isn't just prey. He challenges her, tempts her, awakens something she thought long buried.

What begins as a power play turns into something darker, deeper... and far more dangerous. Sebastian should fear her claws, her magic, her hunger. Instead, he finds himself craving them.

Night after night, he falls further into her bed, her world, and her hellbound heart.

But Lilithien harbors a curse: to love a mortal is to destroy him. And the deeper she gives in to desire, the closer she comes to the moment she might kill the only man who ever made her feel alive.

Now they must face the wrath of angels, the rebellion of demons, and the weight of a love that defies every law of heaven and hell.

He was sent to kill the queen.

He ended up kneeling for her.
