Book Overview

"An incredible storyteller." -Los Angeles Daily News

"A master storyteller." --RT Book Reviews

It should have been an easy mission: employ any means to get the American woman out of the war-torn Central American country-and tell her nothing. But Blair Morgan is beautiful, and for all his professionalism, special agent Craig Taylor finds himself falling for her.

Since the assassination of her beloved husband, Blair has steered clear of men, until she meets Craig. She's ready to believe she might make a new life with him, and then the order comes. Suddenly Blair is a pawn in a terrorist's political game, struggling to forgive her abductor. Their journey through a jungle filled with dangerous rebels becomes a battle of wills between a man of honor and a woman of pride, as they fight for their very lives, and for the love they once shared.

"Graham combines mystery with sizzling romance." --Publishers Weekly

"Has a talent for characterization and romantic tension." --New York Daily News

Heather Graham is terrific. I love all her books. It is so hard for me to put her books down until I am finished. Her charactrs are so compelling.

a "Can't put down read!"

I love Heather Graham! I could not put this book down either, refering to A Customer's review. I have read a lot of her books twice. Craig is a great hero! Blair is a tricky heroine. This a a reprint from the early 1980's so it is a bit dated at times but I think that adds to its charm. Just read it and enjoy.

A fun, easy weekend read!

This book was very enjoyable. Nothing too heavy, just a fun and easy read. It kept me reading it all weekend.

captivating in its truest sence!!

This was a great read! Once I started I couldn't put it down. This was my first Heather Graham novel and it sure won't be my last. It was a fased paced book that kept you more than interested. Taylor's torn sence of duty and love for Blair... was more than compelling! I look forward to more of Grahams works!
