Wonderful for use in my first grade class.

I am teaching world geography and habitats(biomes). Although there are books by DK and Kingfisher that include thes animals, I have found this small but informative line of books have wonderful pictures and the right amount of information for children aged 5-8. They are simple yet not too childish and I like to read actual text pages and not captions next to pictures when I read to the group. DK First Nature EncyclopediaFirst Nature Encyclopedia (Dk First Reference) has been a wonderful resource in conjunction with these.
