The book is situated in Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET). TVET is labelled expensive, complicated, and complex. However, for TVET to be available it must pass through expensive infrastructure, complicated composition of courses and complex mixing of teaching methods. It is evident that TVET is experiencing access limitations, skills shortage, skills mismatch as well as TVET graduate challenges to articulation to higher academic qualifications, particularly in developing countries. However, TVET curriculum has been exposed to different degrees of reviews, which involved repackaging the content to align with technology changes and the emerging teaching and learning models. Therefore, with adequate understanding it's imperative to improve access and quality of TVET to address limited access and low standards of which are the root cause of unskilled labour, unemployment, and rising inequality.
