Tears Of The Heart

By Viola Speed Turner

Tears From The Heart is a passionate and emotional journey written from life experiences. It speaks from such pains as losing a son to gun violence and the ending of a marriage, to the yearning of the heart for love to the radiance of a heart healed and made whole again through the service of one self. This fresh breath of poems speaks prophetically from the past, to the present and future. On one hand it speaks of the beauty of love, hope, trust, loving one's self and embracing every fiber of life. On the other hand it voices the pain of the oppressed, depressed and low-self-esteem while offering encouragement. The simplicity of the language conveys a message to people from all walks of life.
