A Great Debut!

In the sophomore effort Tears of a Hustler by Silk White readers will definitely be drawn into the down and dirty fast life of being a street hustler. Tears of a Hustler tells the story of Ali and G-Money friends since childhood who all about making that fast money, but Ali wants to eventually leave the game for good and make legal drug money. Whereas G-Money can't walk away so willingly since this street life runs too hard through his veins and no one is going to disrespect him and get away with it out him having the final say so. Included in this urban novel is the characters Nancy a pregnant girl who has a boyfriend Dave that uses her as a punching bag any time he feels like it and her crazy, gold digging best friend Coco and while they want a better life, they quickly see that it isn't always that simple for either until Ali and G-Money enter the picture and everyone's life is changed. Tales of a Hustler tells the story of true blood, sweat and tears but this isn't your classic MOP song more of a tale of one wanting to do better but as he is preparing to leave that lifestyle there is some unfinished business from allies which include a crooked cop. This is going to be a classic amongst readers for the vivid true to life storyline and character development. Readers will be captivated by the raw but more so for the action that is carried out through the story. The high speed chases, to the bloody wars that occur at any time with no warning and let's not forget the enticing sex scenes. Tears of a Hustler are one book readers will not want to put down. The only disappointment the reader will find is the story's cliffhanger. You will have some questions that require answering but that is fine since you know a follow up to this story HAS to be in the works. This book will have you hooked from the first chapter. Silk White definitely is name to be on the look out for because his superb display with his words. Silk White might be considered a new kid on the block in this street lit genre of writing but that is alright because upon completion of Tears of a Hustler he is marking his territory, while letting all know who is paying attention that Silk White is here for the long haul. Tales of a Hustler was a phenomenal and quick read and I eagerly await more books from Silk White!

Does this game have any loyalty?

While I have not read Silk's first book "Married to da Streets." With "Tears of Hustler," he has listen to his fan base and had some editing done and giving more to read. I give him credit for listening to his readers. I must say author Silk White had me hooked I love this book and could not put it down; I am patiently waiting for his next one drop. Silk White is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Ali is the main character a drug dealer who dreams of helping his people overcome the ghetto. Ali has a business sense about him. Ali's partner G-Money is loose cannon with a deep hatred for the police; making these two an unstoppable team. They have a force of killers and untamable youngsters behind them. Everything is good until an OG named Rell comes home and wants a piece of the pie. Add to the mix a dirty detective, some snitches, and this makes for a real page-turner. "Tears of a Hustler" has the winning combination of backstabbing, murder, shootouts, deception, trust, love, coupled along with twist and turns. You have to read this MUST READ to see who comes out on top or is it a losing battle for all involved? If you have lost your faith in street lit this is the book for you!!!! The supporting cast come together lovely. There is Nancy Ali pregnant girlfriend, Coco G-Money main squeeze, and Nancy best friend. Spanky Ali younger brother whom is a talent boxer awaiting a title fight. Big Mel is Ali personal bodyguard. Christie is Spanky's stripper girlfriend/wife. WORTH THE MONEY

WATCH OUT BOOK WORLD!! WE HAVE A RISING BEST SELLER ON BOARD...WITH HIS SECOND DEBUT "TEARS OF A HUSTLER" SILKWHITE HAS DONE IT AGAIN. THE BOOK WAS ABOUT YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE IN THE HOOD BUT WITH A TWIST, JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN SILK SWITCHED THE GAME UP AND THATS WHAT MADE THE BOOK SO GOOD...NOT TRYING TO GIVE AWAY THE BOOK,IT'S NOT YOUR USUAL STREET/LOVE STORY..IT'S LIKE READING A MOVIE SCRIPT THATS HOW REAL THE BOOK IS YALL..PLEASE BELIEVE ME IT'S WORTH EVERY HARD~EARNED PENNY

Just when I thought all was lost!

I have been a reader of urban street fiction for years but the recent books that have come out have been basically all the same. As soon as I see the cover I can tell you the whole story beginning to end but this author some how puts an interesting twist on street tales. I saw him getting his feet wet in Married to da Streets but now I see he has mastered it. I got a chance to meet the author and was very shocked. He really enjoys telling us these stories from another point of view instead of the same ole same. "Obama" of urban fiction. Kwan better watch out!

Classic

This is a good follow up to Married to da Streets. Silk White is at the top of him game, this is his best release to date. This release puts him up there with the top 3 authors in this genre. If I had to describe this book with one word I would have to say "classic"
