Great Book

this book is a good read when you really don't have anything to do the characters where kinda boring but their story wasn't.

SECOND CHANCES

Tamara Hodges never forgot her best friend and math tutor in college Micah Ross but when words are exchanged between her and some of her classmates and the situation from her past arises she finds herself passing judgment on Micah before she could really ask him questions. Micah had found the women he loved in Tamara but when she ends their relationship after rumors, he finds himself hurt and devastated never getting to express his love for her. Now ten years later he is out for revenge or so he thinks. Tamara now writes for a local Atlanta paper and he is a major producer. When Tamara gets the call that she has been offered the interview of a lifetime and the opportunity to apologize to her friend she, jumps at it but never with realization that the situation was actually a poly but the poly went for bust when the two realize that their feelings were deeper than they thought. Micah is the record producer and has found a way to get back at Tamara for the hurt that she had caused him. The revenge was going to come at the cost of her job but after thinking back to the fourteen years of friendship he finds himself falling all over in love with her but not before some more misunderstandings and secrets tear them apart.

I Really Liked This Story

It has been a while since I have read a book by Jacquelin Thomas. I liked this story. Micah was a good guy. He was Tamara's tutor when she was in college and always had feeling for her, but was too shy to let her know. Just when he gets the courage to express his feelings for Tamara, a misunderstanding ends their friendship and they lose contact with other. Fast forward ten years, Micah is a successful Music Mogul and Tamara is the journalist hired to interview the hottest new artist on his label. Tamara sees this an opportunity to apologize for their misunderstanding and wants to let Micah know how she really felt about him. Micah has revenge on his mind, because he is still smarting from the way Tamara broke his heart. When they come face to face, the spark between them is still as intense as ever and they end up in bed with each other. Just when it looks like they might get a second chance another misunderstanding tears then apart again. This time fate intervenes and won't make it easy for Micah to walk away. I really like this story, but if you are looking to read about some steamy sex scenes this is not the book for you. I personally think it was written with enough romance that the sex scenes weren't even missed or necessary.

Excellent Read

The Hollington College Series is turning into quick a page turner. Sandra Kitt's RSVP was very good. Ms. Thomas does not disappoint with Teach Me Tonight. I anxiously await the next book in the series as well as the next book from Ms. Thomas.

Teach Me Tonight

This is the second book in the Hollington Homecoming series and you won't be able to put it down until you finish it. Tamara Hodges has never forgotten her friend and math tutor Micah Ross from college. Because of a bad incident that happened to her at the hands of her step-father she didn't trust men. When she overhears some of his friends say that Micah planned to have sex with her and use the 'you're the love of my life line' after graduation instead of having faith in her friendship with Micah, she flew into him after he told her that he loved and she told him that he was not good enough for her. When she finally realized that it was not true, he left town and refused her phone calls. Ten years later she is now a writer for a magazine and is picked to do an interview with a famous singer who is produced by Micah who is now a Beverly Hills record producer. She feels like this is the perfect opportunity to apologize for her actions 10 years ago and he feels it is the right time to get his revenge. He plans to ruin her career but when they finally get the chance to talk about the incident, he realizes that he still loves her but is still afraid to trust her with his heart again. When another misunderstanding happens between them, she finally tells him why she didn't trust him with her heart ten years ago and he finally understands why she said what she said to him in the past.
