Unfortunately, the author does not know Hebrew

This author does not know Modern Hebrew -- the Hebrew in this book is ridiculously antiquated. This book was not properly edited -- any contemporary Israeli Hebrew speaker could have been consulted, but no one bothered; it is useless in every way; it will not help you learn Hebrew. It is inappropriate for all ages. I did not listen to the CD but would not be surprised if the accent was equally poor.
