Karl practised as a teacher for twenty years, and now is a fictional writer, and one of his novels, a psychological and mysterious story, Iniquitous, is currently being translated and published into Portuguese.Rute and Karl live together in a small North Yorkshire town with their three dogs: Nigel, Daisy, Tye, and their cat, Audrey.
