Insightful Commentary on the Agni Yoga Teaching

The beautiful painting on the cover of this book, at once stirs the heart and mind. As one studies the cover, one thinks the painting must have many profound meanings; one wants to delve into its deeper significances; perhaps, found in the book's contents. The vibration of the cover carries with it a feeling of calmness, of peace and beauty. One wants to search into the depth of this book; it has a strong magnetic pull. As one reads the chapter, Maitreya, and the Age of Woman, one is drawn back in thought to the cover, thinking that one of the meanings might be that, holding high the Flame, the woman symbolizes the Mother of the World, the feminine principle of Love-Wisdom "calling" the children of Earth to 'see' the Light, to change their values, to strive to a higher level of consciousness, to sail their ship of life into the Future; the future of Beauty, Goodness and Truth. The study and practice of Agni Yoga, the Teaching of living ethics, is an advanced technique for spiritual growth. Yet, attainable by the earnest student/disciple who truly desires to find the very Heart of Life; it is to be found in this Teaching. Agni Yoga is psychological and scientific, in essence, a process of synthesis. It is the Yoga of the Future, the Teaching of the Future. It is for those who are living in the Future NOW in consciousness; their lives already dedicated to the service of the Plan, to humanity and the Hierarchy; in truth, 'preparing the Way' for, the '@New Era of the Christ and Woman." Revelatory to most is the chapter, Messengers in Space. M.M. says "It was said in antiquity, "All people are angels." Verily, people are the messengers of the far-off worlds. Hence great is their responsibility." The author, Saraydarian, clarifies and corroborates this statement by saying, "You are an angel, and because you are an angel you have a mission beyond earthly troubles and disturbances." He continues, "What message are you going to give to this world from Far-off Worlds?" That message is found when you go deeper into your Self and touch the layers that were formed when you were passing through the spheres in the Far-off Worlds. You are going to go deep into the layers of your consciousness so that you find what impressions you have from Higher Worlds and what you can bring here. This will be your mission." What a profound challenge, A radiant chapter in this book is on the Teacher. It is SO beautiful! On page 107, M.M. magnificently tells us what the Teacher desires for us. In fact, all through the book are His inspiring not-to-be-forgotten words. Read this book with all your heart, all your mind, all your striving, all your Being. It is the voice of your Teacher, the Master 'calling' you to your Inner Fire, your Higher Self, to higher service, to an increasing awareness of your mission on this Earth, of your Oneness with ALL Life and the SELF of the Universe. This book is a priceless treasure of great wisdom and beauty.
