This book is like reading the "Best of" innovation and business transformation information excerpted from books, articles, conversations and of course the future thinking of Mr. Tom Peters. The "best of" collection has been arranged, edited and formulated into a comprehensive and appealing little book. The style of this book is attention grabbing, glossy with sharp bold images and interesting lay-out. You do not need to read this book from cover to cover. You can open this book on any page and find something useful. This book is crammed with insights and wisdom. "Talent" by Tom Peters is a unique perspective on business building practices. He shares compelling opinions on creating WOW! Business Concepts. If you don't have time for reading - then this little book is for you. Only the most important information is found in its pages. Who needs fluff and padding? Great ideas to get you thinking and re-inventing the way you do business.

Great & Motivating Content

True to form, Tom Peters motivates and incites the reader to action. I found myself saying, "Yeah, that's right...you tell them" a lot. Not much disgusts me more than "status quo" and doing what you're expected to do and nothing more. Sometimes even what employees are expected to do isn't delivered. Peters flies right into the face of the staunch, keep-doing-the-same-thing, afraid-to-be-challenged leadership regime. Personally, I would much rather have employees who think and save the button pushing for computers and robots. You can expect a few typos and hard to read type in places but the content is relevant and thought provoking. I recommend this book as the perfect "in-flight" or quick read as a much needed kick-in-the-butt for those looking to break out of the mundane. Angela Stewart, Belay Marketing Partners

Stimulating content

Tom Peters (and Seth Godin) should be required reading for all college courses. Great little book with easy to digest content, awesome design and stimulating ideas.

This new book focuses tightly on one of Tom's big areas - Talent. How do you make the best people want to work for you? And how do you get the most out of them? And how do you improve yourself? Tom's very much in the Free Agent Nation camp, expecting all of us to be individual enteprenuers, even if we work for Big Inc. He also believe that we don't have a choice - the new world is forcing it on us. Like most of his books, we're treated to stories, statistics, and some very heavy exhortations. Do it or die trying! The only downside is it is a bit redundant if you've read Re-imagine, but we all need a refresher.

My boss' boss gave me his copy to read, and I enjoyed it so much I bought my own. This is a really nice small book that focuses on what you CAN do, which is quite a lot!
