Take Ten: A Collection of Short Stories

By Amelia E Chambers

Take ten minutes out of your day and sit back, relax and enjoy a short story. Read it alone, or to a family member, or share the experience with a friend. These ten stories are written to appeal to everyone, of all ages and from all walks of life. The stories are arranged so that the shortest one is first, the longest last. In the first story a young boy keeps his promise one Christmas. In subsequent tales another young lad is surprised a soldier knows his donkey's name, an egg proves to be more than a staple commodity and a woman who loves puzzles strikes up an unlikely acquaintance with a neighbour. Some of the stories are based on true events, others created from the author's imagination. Which one is your favourite?
