Review for Take it by Force

I love this book! I decided to purchase it because I didn't have enough time to finish the one I checked out from the Library! Judy Jacobs is a favorite of mine from TBN and this book is as powerful as her singing and preaching. In it she admonishes THE BODY OF CHRIST to move forward through Violent Faith and Take the Kingdom for Christ by Force!

Matt, 11:12 - Aggressive Faith

You are not going to find many pastors preaching sermons on Matthew 11:12. In the United States, American Christians do not want to fight and we have created an image of passivity in the church. Matthew 11:12 is a red letter passage that shows a side of Jesus that is unknown or explained away. In the New Living Translation it reads, "And from the time John the Baptist began preaching and baptizing until now, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing, and violent people attack it." Other versions of the Bible read, "forceful men" or "the violent take it by force." In "Take it By Force: Faith that Stands Firm in the Face of Opposition," Judy Jacobs does a fine job in unlocking the meaning of Matthew 11:12. The book attempts to teach the reader to walk in the power of violent faith. She describes violent faith as a "sheer determination, aggressiveness in the Spirit, an attitude of perseverance and gustiness." The reader is alerted to the fact that since the fall of man, the enemy is "after your stuff." This book is calling the church to wake up from passivity and understand the meaning of an aggressive violent faith. She reminds us of the authority that we have in Christ Jesus and encourages the reader not to quit, despite the circumstances. If you are looking for a scholarly commentary of the Bible, this book is not for you. Rather, this book is for those who want to practically apply the Bible to everyday living. If you are tired of getting beat up by the enemy and you want to take back all that has been stolen from you, then you should not only read, but study this book.

Just When I Needed It Most!!

This is a book that touched my heart and soul just when I needed it most. Every Christian would benefit greatly by adding this book to their library, it truly blessed me. After attempting to read 'They Shall Expel Demons' by Derek Prince (which I finally gave up on because it made no sense and got rid of it) I opened an email from 'Spirit Led Woman Power' and read an excerpt from Sister Judy Jacobs book and knew immediately this was what I was looking for. It is written with such humility and love for the people of God that I inhaled it as a breath of fresh air and exhaled knowing I'd been changed. People please throw out all those books by these self-styled deliverers who conversate with demons and pick up 'Take It By Force' and read about becoming more Christ-like, having love and compassion for our brothers/ sisters, then walk in the God-given power and authority of the Holy Spirit. It is the Word of God and the Mighty Name of Jesus that causes demons to tremble and have to flee. Her testimonies are so uplifting, I almost wept when I read about 'John' the little boy whose parents were separated and how lovingly and tenderly Judy ministered to this child with so much faith in God. Hebrews 4:12 says "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." So put on the full armor of God, preparing for battle being filled with the word of God, then don't let the demons get a word in edgewise. There's no need to talk to them, they're liars the same as their father the devil, Jesus told them to 'be quiet and come out'. I began praying for someone who popped up claiming to want to be my friend just when God is taking me step-by-step to a new level of spiritual maturity and I was reading this book. It was awesome how the very next day she exposed herself and I stood my ground in the Name of Jesus, letting her know that I'd continue to pray for her but she had to go. This is one of those books you want to read right along with the Bible and to keep around for future reference. Thank You Sister Judy!!

A WONDERFUL ANNOINTING FROM GOD'S HOLY SERVANT!!!

We know that Judy Jacobs Tuttle is known for His Song Ministries, along with her husband Jamie Tuttle. What a wonderful Ministry!!! I had the pleasure of seeing Judy in person when she visited the shores of Barbados in the Caribbean last year 2005 at the Garfield Sobers Gymnasium, and she had the whole congregation on their feet as we worshipped. That night I was suffering from a headache in the crown of my head, but when Judy Jacobs prayered for the sick, I was healed when I exited those doors that night to return home. In her book, Take It by Force, Judy expounds on the fight and the force we should use to get what is truly ours; blessings and prosperity, the love of our family and off-spring, our jobs, our health, everything that is rightfully ours through Jesus Christ. We must claim the gifts stolen from us by Satan, and retrieve them back into our lives. She introduces us to Crazy Turnaround faith which we should act on immediately after receiving a word from God. Crazy Turnaround faith may look like silliness to others who are not under the anointing, but we must be obedient in order to make our claims. We are encouraged to wake up and venture out, unafraid with God's great guidance. Judy Jacobs gives us all the answers in her latest novel, which is a good teaching for Christians and those trying to find their way to the Throne of Grace, for there is indeed, no God like Jehovah. This book can't help but change you...

It was very hard to put this down once I started. Judy has a way of making me want to go door-to-door to lay hands on people and see people saved, healed and delivered. She urges us now is the time to take a stand for ourselves and our families, and to not tolerate any of the adversaries schemes, lies and deceptions anymore. Something inside of you will "rise-up" when you read this book!
