Wonderful writing

I have been looking for a book on Stem Mammals, and alas, there are none written for lay people, that are still in print. This book is very well written, informative and full of dry humor, and the illustrations are good, too. What a find! A good book for people who are interested in ancient animal life beyond Dinosaurs.

Hooray for Therapsids!

This book is excellent. It is a shame that it is out of print. It has great illustrations and it is about therapsids and synapsida everyones favorite proto-mammals.
