Hint of romance from a diverse author

Having previously read this quaint story, and others by JR Nakken, I have purchased three copies for gift-giving! I have met the author. There is a lesson to be found in all of her works, holding tru to her saying she doesn't want to just write book, but wants to teach us a little something. This book is not your classic romance novel. It is simply written, blended around a relationship which should blossom, while life in general and it's biases presents as the barrier. Pleasant reading.

Love knows no race or class

Love knows no race or class. "Sweet Grass Season" tells the romance of a white business woman and how she catches the eyes of a native American man who knows a toolbox much better than he does a cubicle. Their romance buds, as J. R. Nakken tells this charming and sweet romance. "Sweet Grass Season" is well worth considering for genre fans.

Home town lady writes great book

This book was written by a girl who went to school where I did in SD. I am glad to see small town girl write a great book to read.

Sweet Grass, a beautifully crafted love story,

has just the right amount of page to page mystery to keep the reader riveted to the story line. Nakken uses anticipatory end topic assertions that sometime make the reader think disaster is eminent. However, as one reads on, a positive outcome always reveals itself. This book, on subject matter some might consider sensitive, is a pleasurable, uplifting reading experience and will leave your heart glad.
