Lots of Fun!

I was skeptical about this series for a long time. I finally bought it because I loved the cover art, and I'm a big fan of the stuff that Yen Press puts out. The color pages and overall quality of their releases always make their product stand out. "Suzunari!" has received mixed reviews online, and that worried me a little bit. I liked the way it looked, but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend 11 bucks on something I might not like. Still, I wound up buying it, since I'm a sucker for cute characters, and after reading this volume, I was very happy I had bought this title. It's cute, funny, and an overall charming story. Don't let the below average reviews fool you; "Suzunari!" is certainly worth taking home.

Deliciously cute!

Suzunari is a 4-koma comic series about ordinary schoolgirl Kaede. One day, God decides to drop a clone/twin sister of Kaede in her lap, except that this sister has cat ears, a much plumper chest, and a hyper-affectionate spastic personality. The comedy in Suzunari largely focuses around Kaede being the straightman for Suzu's antics, and for everyone else misunderstanding their relationship. Though the story is nothing groundbreaking, the slice-of-life humor is fairly good, and the art is tooth-rot inducingly cute. If you're like me, a dude who thinks there's never enough cute 4-koma on his manga shelf, then pick this one up. It's pretty good.
