Gabby is adding mold remediation to her crime scene clean-up repertoire. She finds a dead body under the house who happens to be an Elvis impersonator & the mystery is on. Confronting the dead Elvis's wife, mistress, business partner, and former employer has Gabby put in the cross hairs of a killer. Problems are heating up for Gabby & her boyfriend Parker when she's finding they don't have a lot in common. Add to that her mending broken heart over Riley who keeps helping her out and hanging around. Gabby is trying to solve a murder along with her crisis in faith with God and being alone. Enter in a foxy guy named Chad who is starting a crime scene cleaning business and Gabby now has competition for work and her heart

Who Killed Elvis?

After reading Book 1 in this series, I was anxious to order Book 2 to see what trouble Gabby would get into next, and I was not disappointed! My only "complaint" was that sometimes I stayed up way too late reading "just one more chapter" so I was very tired at work the next day! It was fun to see the characters develop more! Ready for Book 3!

I Loved It!

I loved Suspicious Minds. Funny, fast paced, I just love Gabby's quirky friends and her way of being brave, no matter how much trouble it gets her into. Very fun book. I can't wait to hear more from Christy Barritt.

Wonderful book!

If you like Susan May Warren or Dee Henderson you will love this author. She writes about a crime scene cleaner who wants to be an investigator in a way that is intriguing without grossing out the reader on all the details. It has lots of mystery and suspense, with an underlying Christian theme. You will fall in love with the main character Gabby as you follow her story through twists and turns. Don't forget to also check out the first book about Gabby, Hazardous Duty.

This is the second book starring Gabby St. Claire and I can't wait for the next. I couldn't put this book down!

This book will make you laugh out loud as you meet the quirky characters in this story. The heroine, who operates a crime-scene cleaning business discovers yet another body on one of her job sites. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to investigate a crime, she links up with a competitor for her clients and begins interrogating suspects. Her ex-boyfriend, her current boyfriend, and her weird neighbors will keep you turning pages as you try to discover, along with her, the criminal who shot Elvis. She manages to do this despite danger to herself, her bank account, and her future plans. Don't miss this book from an author to watch.
