Book Overview

Daisy Kildare lives with her family in a cottage perched on the Connemara coast. The Kildares are poor but happy. Great book by Ms. Flynn

Daisy Kildare is happy living with her family in Ireland but time are hard durning the depression. After a series of events lead to the Kildare to lose there home. After Daisy Aunt Jane offers to Daisy to be a companion to her employer's niece Cynthia. Living in Liverpool Daisy meet Jake, the son of the family driver. Jake and Daisy grow up being pals. But when the war breaks and Jake nearly dies then does Daisy realize how much she loves Jake. "Sunshine and Shadow" is a great read by Ms. Flynn. As always Ms. Fynn give the reader strong and down to earth characters that are able to hold the reader interest. Overall "Sunshine and Shadow" is another great read by Ms. Flynn
