Growing churches are not doing seven brilliant things. They are doing the same seven small things every week, until those small things become the standard.
Visit enough growing churches and the surprising part is how unremarkable the list is. The service starts when it says it will and ends when it says it will. The order does not change from week to week. The first five minutes are scripted and rehearsed. A guest cannot leave the building without being known. There is one clear ask, made the same way every Sunday. Somebody reaches out before Monday. And on Monday morning, four numbers get counted. That is the whole list. Nothing on it is clever. Every item on it is a discipline.

Clock discipline is what makes a locked format possible. A locked format is what makes the first five minutes scriptable. A scripted opening is what earns you a guest's information. Guest capture feeds the follow-up. The follow-up feeds the second visit. The second visit feeds First Step. First Step feeds the metrics, and the metrics tell you whether the route is still holding. Pull one switch out of that chain and everything above it slackens.
Run all seven long enough and they stop being tasks and start being culture. You stop enforcing the clock, because your team stops fighting it. Your congregation stops asking what happens here and starts saying this is who we are. That accumulated trust, built one consistent Sunday at a time, is what turns attenders into members, members into disciples, disciples into leaders, and leaders into multipliers. That is what mastery looks like. It is not a bigger idea. It is a smaller one, repeated until it holds weight.
