Suffering in Style is a collection of thoughts I couldn't say out loud so I wrote them instead.
These pieces come from nights where my mind wouldn't slow down, where overthinking was louder than everything else, and writing was the only way I could breathe.
This isn't polished poetry. It's raw, conversational, and honest somewhere between a poem, a song, and a late-night voice note you never send.
Music shaped this book the same way it shaped me, so I want to credit the artists who helped carry these emotions: Citizen Cope, Jeff Buckley, Cigarettes After Sex, Arctic Monkeys, and Cage the Elephant.
If you're reading this, I hope you find something that feels familiar. Something that reminds you you're not the only one thinking like this at 3 AM.
This book is about love, regret, overthinking, and learning how to let go without losing yourself in the process.
