strong women, strong bones;.....preventing and treating osteoporosis

My family doctor recommended the book. The book certainly has all the information needed if guidelines and recommendations are rigidly followed and will I believe prevent and treat osteoporosis with correct diet, nutrients and exercise.

Strong Book

I am one of those many young (-ish...44) women who appear to be in good shape but walk around with osteopenia and most of the risk factors for osteoporosis. This book was written in simple-to-understand English, based on sound modern research. It gave me a place to start my quest to get stronger. I am buying it for many of my girlfriends.

Very good information for women of all ages. The updated version was similar to the orginal but some new info.

Informative, user friendly, full of good information

This book is well researched, well presented, and easy to use. Most every question about bone health I asked is answered in here somewhere. The exercise section is well laid out, gives practical suggestions and offers viable alternatives. Very nice book. Recommend highly.
