Strike Me Deadly

A hunter deliberately guns down his partner and starts a forest fire to cover up the murder. He thinks he's gotten away with the perfect crime until he spies Forest Ranger Jimmy Grant, who stumbles onto the gruesome scene while out on patrol, witnessing everything. A deadly manhunt begins as unarmed Jimmy runs for his life across the rugged terrain. His relentless pursuer follows him all the way back to the remote cabin where Jimmy's young bride, Lori, awaits his return, blissfully unaware that her husband - and herself - are in the crosshairs of a killer's rifle.

Regarded by many as his best work, Strike Me Deadly, filmed on location in the mountain forests of Oregon in 1963, is legendary director Ted V. Mikels' first theatrical release. This taut thriller stars Gary Clarke (How to Make a Monster, Missile to the Moon) and Jeannine Riley (Petticoat Junction) and features a riveting performance by Steve Ihnat (The Chase, In Like Flint) as the killer.

Includes bonus interview with director/writer/producer Ted V. Mikels.
