a helpful book

This is a book that can be used by any age for clarification and information. I am taking a course that includes church history and found this easy to read. The Middle Ages can be difficult to envision or grasp. This book explained the material simply and concisely. Then it was easier to add new facts and people rather than overwhelming the reader at first. A good resource book for the age group it was written for, or anyone looking for a basic place to start researching the era.
