Charles must get there before his employees are murdered in a gruesome manner.
Chalres' trip to handle an angry rancher near Kansas City that is holding up railroad track construction evolves into a major purchase and the beginning of a significant investment.
Chalres' adventure continues to New York, where his daughter, Judy, attending college, has an important decision to discuss with Charles and Judith.
Charles and the family return to Philadelphia, where Charles must deal with the father of a school bully at his son's school.
