Storm Warrior II: Hidden Secrets

By W.L. Cox

In the first book, "Storm Warrior," he begins his journey in China. He is raised by Buddhist monks after his parents are murdered during the Chinese Civil War by a marauding warlord named Hong Xiuchuan
The monks educate and train Storm Warrior in martial arts.
At age 21, Storm Warrior travels to America aboard a cargo ship with 15 other Chinese. At sea, they are taken prisoner and forced into slavery.
Once the ship arrives in Boston, Storm Warrior escapes after killing a cruel co-captain and swims to freedom.
Storm Warrior travels west on foot and encounters numerous hazards.
Storm Warrior is captured by the Sioux and eventually adopted into the Sioux Nation.
Storm Warrior continues to have many fresh adventures as he lives with the Sioux, struggles against tradition as he sets up a training camp for the young braves, helps develop a relationship with the white soldiers from the fort, and does his best to allow the school to be built on Sioux land for the children. He also asks Judith Johansen, a white schoolteacher whose husband was killed in an Indian attack on a wagon train, to come to the Sioux Nation and teach the young Sioux how to read and write the white man's words.
