Still Laughing!

Funny, funny, funny! I put the book on the coffee table in the living room and my husband got to it before I did. I could hear the laughter from two rooms away and, when it was finally my turn to read the book, I knew what he was laughing about right away! Margie's writing style is such that you'd swear she was sitting next to you telling the stories over a cup of coffee....VERY funny!

We Laughed Out Loud

We read this book out loud and laughed at every page. Margie Zats finds humor in all corners of life and writes about it with a quick wit. This book will appreal to those who remember gathering around the first television on the block as well as younger folks who can't imagine life without the Internet but want a glimpse of it. You'll chuckle at the situations Margie finds herself in and realize you've been there yourself.

I loved the funny, charming "Life's universal survival skills" chapters near the end of this delightful, easy to carry around, paperback book! It would make a great gift too, because people of any age will get a lot of laughs at the author's wonderful recollections of the way things used to be back when life was simpler.

I not only chuckled, I laughed out loud at this nostalgia-packed little book. It will bring back lots of memories of the way things used to be before the high tech life we lead today. And there's a bonus at the end--some simple, divine recipes you won't find in today's health conscious cookbooks! All in all, a quick, fun read.
