Love this book

I disagree with the reviewer who said the writing was choppy and difficult to follow... I am 16 years old and have read the book twice, just for fun. I'm not super interested in psychology, but as a lover of children and languages the book fascinated me. I saw it in my town's public library, picked it up, and read it nonstop. I learned a lot from it, and it was pretty enthralling with maybe a couple of hard-to-understand places.

Incredible insight

The Stories Children Tell is a great piece of work that brings our ideas about children and the world together with sophisticated but accessible psychological themes.
