Still Walking in The Dark

By John Olszewski

In Still Walking in The Dark, John Olszewski continues his exploration into the minds and lives of some of the most notorious killers in modern history. Through years of research and direct correspondence with convicted murderers, Olszewski has assembled a rare collection of letters, conversations, and personal exchanges with individuals responsible for some of the most disturbing crimes imaginable. These interactions offer an unusual window into the lives of those who now exist behind prison walls. Rather than focusing solely on crimes and investigations, the book examines the individuals themselves-their thoughts, reflections, daily routines, and the ways they attempt to explain their actions or lives. From serial killers to mass murderers and other violent offenders, the author's correspondence reveals perspectives rarely seen outside prison walls. Drawing on his background in criminal justice, behavioral science, and counseling psychology, Olszewski approaches these interactions with the goal of understanding the human side of individuals often believed not to have one. Still Walking in The Dark continues the author's long-running research into violent offenders and the psychology surrounding their crimes. For readers fascinated by true crime and criminal behavior, the book offers an unusual look at the people behind the headlines.
