With the exception of occasionally breaking his own rules... Nolan takes care of himself and himself alone.

Adaline+Nolan - When cautious, stealthy Nolan encounters Ada screaming and drawing attention to their current location, he has to quickly decide if taking on the young woman as another mouth to feed and life to protect is worth the risk. The risk neither of them counted on, however, was the one of falling in love in dangerous times.
