I remember reading this book when I was a little kid and it always impressed me. It consists of pictures of different Ontario churches and brief comments on the history of each. The pictures are gorgeous and you can almost imagine being there. I loved the complexity of Sharon Temple, the mystery of the church with the padlock, and the ruined Nicholson Chapel was beautifully sad. All and all, a great book. It might just inspire a steeple chase of your own.
