Jim Nash's P.I. business has been unusually slow. A friend walks in and tells him he's needed for a job. Although the customer is light on details, he accepts. Then he learns the job is for the feds. Alarm bells ring. He's worked off the book for the feds before, and always ended up with the short end of the stick.
With no further information forthcoming, Jim demands to be paid up front.
His customer walks down the stairs and out of the building. Jim figures the job offer flew out the door with her.
Much to his surprise, the customer returns. She agrees to meet his demands.
Now Jim must meet hers.
To do so, he's forced to turn to Harry Delaney.
