a very good concept with room for improvement

the concept of statistics 101 is great, the execution leaves a bit to be desired. this is a BIG undertaking to trim so much language down to a small book. there are a number of grammar, spelling, typo errors, then a few flaming mathematical errors when "explaining" hypothesis testing for quality control [p 147] and the chi-squared test for goodness of fit [pp 194-195]. since we who buy such a book are not experts, we rely on the author to be perfect and the math to be perfect, because, to maintain brevity, the author is NOT explaining the methods, but teaching them through worked-out examples. I think I have made the corrections, but would love to communicate them to david borman to be sure. if perfected, this would be a powerful book for engineers, educators, or medical people who are being pushed to publish.
