Excellent text for learning SPC practices

Quite simply the best book I have read on modern SPC practices. Unlike the other reviewers, I found the book completely approachable and an enjoyable read. I used this book as a text for a college level SPC course in 1998, and I have continued to use is a reference ever since. While the math presentation is complete, it is not overwhelming. The authors tend to focus on the philosphophy of SPC and provide excellent case studies.

Great Book for understanding the concepts of DOE Analysis

This book deals with the concepts behind quality engineering from Deming to Taguchi. The meat of the book resides in demonstrating the power of orthogonal and sequential experimentation in understanding and modeling processes. Good case studies are provided to demonstrate real world application of this powerful analysis tool.
