On a December night in Chicago, fashion influencer Adri Jackson's life ends in a way the world decides she will not come back from.

He is not looking for anything. He is not, by any reasonable accounting, ready. But on a Tuesday in February, in a break room with a flickery light and two paper cups of bad coffee, a woman walks in with a thermos.

It is about hope as a discipline, and about being seen at the exact moment of being ready to be seen.
