New York Times bestselling author Suzanne Brockmann delivers a double-dip romance in this special edition that brings together two of her most beguiling love stories. The pair of full-length novels in... This description may be from another edition of this product.
Suzanne Brockmann's tales of love continue to shine in these two stories. The characters are moving and believable. Stand-in Groom is a straight romance. Time Enough for Love is a time twisting tale of love and suspense. Both stories fill the mind and leaving the reader wanting to take a second or a third peek at the stories again. Definitely worth the money
One out of two ain't bad

I cannot find words to describe how much I like Suzanne Brockmann books. I have to say that the first story Stand in Groom was a little lacking and I can't say why, but the second one Time Enough for Love more than made up for it. Not being fond of time traveling stories this one caught me by surprise because it was really heartwarming. Even in hindsight, I would still purchase this book. Suzanne had definitely improved with the years.
There is such a thing as an excellent time travel romance.

I will start by admitting to being a huge Suz Brockmann fan. Yet I had not read Stand in Groom, so I got my hands on this re-release at the first opportunity. I would rate Stand in Groom as 3 stars and Time Enough for Love as 5 stars of five. Stand in Groom, an early book, reads a bit like the author is still finding her voice and honing her craft. Some phrases she's partial to using find their way in more often than they should. As the story goes along, the hero is revealed in tantalizing bits and becomes a luscious man that any sane person would lust after. The heroine's reveal doesn't keep up. At the start I was wondering what she saw in him. At the end, it was the other way around. The heroine was all right, but pushed toward TSTL on occasion, and needed just a little bit more than money to recommend her. But it is still worth reading for the delicious hero. Time Enough for Love, also an early book, really caught me by surprise. Usually I dread it when romance novelists dabble in science fiction, time travel in particular. But this is no dabbling. This is an honest sci-fi, time travel romance that has good sci-fi, and suspenseful action plot, and good romance all going on. I think that's all the review you need to know, because I don't want to spoil this for anyone. If you're a sci-fi fan and/or a romance reader, don't hesitate to snap up Time Enough for Love.
