Can't go wrong with killer caterpillars

It's a tough call between this and the 2 books entitled "Slime" (one by the same author and one by William Essex) for the honor of being my favorite horror book. Killer caterpillars is a smirk-inducing concept, but me being the fan of nature-runs-amok stuff that I am it's a concept I gleefully embrace. After reading the young adult book "Squirmsters" by David Jacobs (along with all the other Bug Files books) years ago, I always wished there was another gorier nastier less "teeny" book about voracious caterpillars but knew that was just wishful thinking. Then, of course, I hear of this book and knew a copy must be within my posession as soon as possible. So my expectaions for this book were rather high and after reading it I can say with a delightful twinkle in my eye that it did not disappoint. It's also nice that despite the inclusion of the moths, the story remains primarily on the caterpillars. Leave the subject of moths to the book "Blight" by Mark Sonders which I have yet to read, but is sitting on my shelf. Yes, I do indeed recommend this book which is among my top 3.
